The Bad Gal hit the British Fashion Awards 2024 red carpet in London on Monday night wearing a fantastical fur hat worthy of Pamela Anderson.
Hailing from Christian Lacroix’s fall 2002 couture collection, the oversized accessory was shown on the runway with a matching blue fur jacket — and Rihanna, 36, wore both together while attending the event alongside partner A$AP Rocky.
But the Grammy winner put her own stamp on the look by wearing the fur pieces with little more than a black corset, sheer tights and leather opera gloves — along with plenty of diamonds.
Rocky, meanwhile, looked dapper in a navy coat and trousers with a white shirt and orange leather tie, all by Bottega Veneta.
The Fenty Beauty founder is not up for any awards at the A-list fashion event, but her now-defunct high-fashion brand was nominated in 2019 in the Urban Luxe category.
For that occasion, she wore a similarly eye-catching mint minidress from Fenty.
Rocky accompanied her as her date, despite the fact that the pair hadn’t yet confirmed they were dating.
It comes as no surprise that the “Umbrella” singer would go for a fabulous fur look, as she’s regularly seen wearing pricey vintage minks; she even stepped out in a faux fur crop top while pregnant with younger son Riot Rose last year.
Rocky, 36, with whom Rihanna shares Riot as well as 2-year-old son RZA, previously declared her 2019 Fashion Awards look one of her all-time best red carpet ensembles.
We’ll have to see if this year’s double dose of fur tops it.
